The United Nations has sent a third memorandum to New Delhi on the atrocities committed by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir in which it expressed deep concern over the atrocities perpetrated on Kashmiris by the occupying forces.

The UN wrote in the memorandum that the international body was deeply concerned about human rights violations, lockdowns and extrajudicial killings by security personnel in occupied Kashmir.

The international body demanded that India conduct an impartial inquiry into the atrocities against Kashmiris.

It also called on India to prosecute those responsible for killing, torturing and abusing Kashmiris.

It should be noted that since August 5, 2019, the United Nations has sent three memoranda to India from New Delhi.

The United Nations deplored India's decision not to respond to any memorandum.
