Priyanka Chopra, the wife of Bollywood star and American actor, singer and songwriter Nick Jones, will work with many influential and famous women leaders to promote gender equality.
In this regard, 38-year-old Priyanka Chopra will be part of the Virtual Girl-Up Leader Summit. The summit is also attended by former US First Lady Michelle Obama and Meghan Markle, wife of the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry.
Announcing the news on her social media handler, Priyanka Chopra said that no matter one's background, women have the power to change themselves, their communities and the world around them.
"Join me to join other popular women leaders in the Virtual 2020 @GirlUp Leadership Summit," she added.
The summit also includes 2018 Peace Nobel Laureate Nadia Murad, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, and renowned British actress Jamila Jamil, according to the organization's website.

Girl Up is actually the beginning of a leadership and 65,000 women from 3,500 clubs in about 120 countries are working with it. All states in the United States are connected to the network, which aims to instill a sense of gender equality and social change in young women.
