What PM Imran Khan says is true, China's big message to the people of Pakistan, according to reports, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Li Jianzhou fully agreed with Prime Minister Imran Khan's statement on the C-Pac project,It will be very helpful in the development of Pakistan.

Answering questions from reporters during a media briefing in Beijing, Li Jianzhao said that the Chinese government and the Chinese people support and like Imran Khan's efforts for the development of the country and the nation.

He said that the Pak-China Economic Corridor (C-Pac) project would help Pakistan in advancing its economic and social development. The C-Pack project is the beginning of China's Belt and Road project.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that they are very satisfied with Imran Khan's policies, they believe that Pakistan is moving in the right direction despite the difficult situation, the spokesman also said that his confidence with Imran Khan has increased. 


Recently, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that C-Pack is a guarantee of a bright and lasting Pakistan. Manifestations of Pak-China friendship will bring this project to fruition at all costs.

According to details, a review meeting on Pak-China Economic Corridor (CPC) projects was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan on July 3 this year in which Chairman CPC Authority Lt. Gen. (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Advisor Commerce Minister Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Federal Ministers Omar Ayub and Khusro Bakhtiar also attended.

The meeting reviewed the progress in C-Pack projects. The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the performance of the C-Pac Authority. He was briefed on the current status of ongoing projects.

The Prime Minister said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project is an excellent project for our social and economic development.

Imran Khan appreciated the performance of C-Pac Authority and said that all necessary steps should be taken to make the performance and capacity of this authority more efficient.

Meanwhile, Chairman C-Pac Authority Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa had also said in his statement that commencement of work on M8 was the top priority of the government.

He said in a tweet that the Central Development Working Party has approved Rs 26 billion for the 146 km long Hoshab to Awaran road.

He said that this highway in the remote districts of Ketch and Awaran is a ray of hope for the backward South Balochistan and will change the lives of the people of these areas.

In another tweet, Asim Saleem Bajwa said that the construction of an international style airport in Gwadar at a cost of 23 230 million is in full swing. With the construction of Gwadar Airport, the city will enter a new era of development.

He said that Gwadar city is of central importance under the Pak-China Economic Corridor project. Gwadar also needed an international airport. Construction of Gwadar International Airport began last year and work on the project is in full swing.

Asim Saleem Bajwa said that the world's largest passenger plane A380 will also have the facility to land and take off on the runway of the state-of-the-art airport in Gwadar.

Chairman C-Pac Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa said on social networking site Twitter that he was committed to completing all ongoing development projects in Gwadar as directed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The میں 230 million airport in Gwadar will be a prelude to the city and port of Gwadar.

He said that with the construction of the airport, Gwadar would get the status of an international city and the project would also help in creating employment opportunities and development of the city.

It may be recalled that the agreement for Azad Patan Hydropower Project was signed yesterday. The project will generate 700 megawatts of electricity and create 3,000 jobs.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the project, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that we have learned a lot from the development of China. The C-Pack project will take Pakistan to the very top.

The Prime Minister had said that unfortunately in the past no attention was paid to cheap electricity. Debt countries have to pay a heavy price. We are not building a power project with a loan, it is an investment.

He said that Pak-China Economic Corridor was moving forward in different phases. The Azad Patan Hydropower Project is a C-Pack project. Our priority is clean energy. It will not affect the environment.

The Prime Minister said that after the 1990s, expensive electricity had a huge impact on the economy. The hydropower project will benefit a lot from electricity. Expensive electricity hurt the industry. Expensive electricity made a difference in every sector.

Addressing the function, he said that the people had to pay a heavy price for electricity from imported oil. I am happy that now electricity will be generated from water in Pakistan. These projects will embarrass our dream of a clean and green Pakistan.

Addressing the function on the occasion, Chairman C-Pac Authority Lt. Gen. (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa said that we are striving to provide affordable and environment friendly electricity to the people. China will invest 1.5 billion in the project.

"In the last ten days, we've gotten four billion dollars in investment," he said. Agreements were reached to procure 1800 MW of cheap electricity. These projects will provide employment to 8,000 people.
