Pakistan Cricket Board has called formar crickers , Saleem Malik and Danish Kanariya .

Lahore, July 10, 2020: Danish Kaneria and Saleem Malik approached the Pakistan Cricket Board on separate issues. The PCB has responded to both the former cricketers after carefully studying their applications and then reviewing them.

The following is a summary of the answers on both issues in this regard:

Danish Kaneria (Rehab Program):

You have been banned for life by the England and Wales Cricket Board's Cricket Discipline Commission for knowingly encouraging Marin Westfield not to perform to the best of his ability in the Durham match.

You challenged this decision before the Appeals Panel of the Cricket Disciplinary Commission where the decision was upheld. He then appealed to the Commercial Bench of the High Court in London, which was dismissed. He then appealed to the Civil Division Court, which was dismissed.

The PCB's rehabilitation program is offered to players at the end of the relevant disability periods, not to players who are facing a life ban.

Lifetime ban imposed by ECB. According to Article 9 of the ICC / PCB Anti-Corruption Code, this ban must be maintained on all ICC members. The only way to remove it is an appeal which you have already used.

Article 6.8 of the ECB Anti-Corruption Code applied to this case clearly states that only the head of the Anti-Corruption Tribunal who decides on this matter has the authority to allow the player to play again. Was told

Therefore, in accordance with Article 6.8 of the ECB Anti-Corruption Code, you are advised to approach the ECB on this matter.

Saleem Malik (Failed to respond to the April 2000 transcript provided by the ICC):

You chose not to respond to the contents of a transcript of a conversation in April 2000.
In this context, the PCB cannot take further action unless you respond to the matter.
اRefusal and refusal to respond to the transcript cannot alter the confession you made in a letter to the then Chairman PCB dated May 5, 2014, the contents of which are as follows:

"Sir, after consultation and my own free will, I have come to the conclusion that I am ready to admit my mistake, apologize to the audience and begin the process of rehab. I am fully aware of the consequences of my decision and am ready to cooperate fully with the ICC and the PCB for my rehab program. I request the PCB to talk to the ICC if necessary and start my rehab program as soon as possible.
