In China, after Corona, another suspected deadly disease, Black Death, has been reported



Hohhot (Xinhua) - Authorities have issued a warning following a bubonic plague known as the "Black Death" in a city in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.

According to the Chinese news agency, local health officials in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of northern China have said that a suspected case of glandular plague has been reported in the area.

The Bayan Noor Municipal Health Commission said on Sunday that a suspected case of glandular plague had been reported at the Orad Middle Banner Public Hospital on Saturday. Has issued a third-degree warning that will run until the end of 2020.

The commission has urged citizens to increase their safety as there is a risk of human-to-human transmission of the disease in the city, while citizens should not hunt or eat the animals that cause the plague.

The agency urges the public to report any sick or dead marmots or any other animal, suspected case of plague, high fever without any reason or sudden death.

According to the BBC, bubonic plague is caused by a bacterial infection. They can be dangerous, but they are usually treated with antibiotics. The plague is deadly but treatable and is less likely to become epidemic.

The case comes at a time when the entire world, including China, is battling a dangerous epidemic of corona virus.
