5 civilians injured in unprovoked firing on Indian Army's Line of Control.
According to the Director General (DG) of the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), two boys and two elderly women were among those injured in the unprovoked firing by the Indian Army on the LOC. Once again, violating the ceasefire agreement on the Line of Control, they opened unprovoked fire on the civilian population, injuring five civilians, including two elderly women.
According to ISPR, the Indian Army targeted the civilian population in Nikail sector while the Pakistan Army responded immediately and effectively to the Indian firing.
A protest has also been recorded by summoning a senior Indian diplomat to the Foreign Office after the Indian Army's unprovoked firing on the LOC. Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqi said that India had violated the LOC agreement.
